Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee daily operations on our construction sites. This role is critical to ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards. The Superintendent will coordinate field operations, subcontractors, and site activities while maintaining communication with the project team.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day on-site construction activities and ensure job site safety, quality, and schedule. Coordinate and supervise all field personnel and subcontractors. Enforce project plans, specifications, and quality standards. Conduct daily site meetings and communicate progress with the project manager and stakeholders. Maintain project schedule and update timelines as needed. Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety programs. Review and approve daily logs, delivery tickets, and time sheets. Proactively identify and resolve field issues, delays, or potential risks. Maintain clean and organized job site.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Superintendent or similar role in commercial/industrial construction. Light industrial and big box retail experience a plus. Strong knowledge of building systems, construction methods, and safety regulations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Proficiency with scheduling software and construction management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project). OSHA 30-hour certification (preferred). Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Education & Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred. Minimum 5 years of field experience in construction supervision.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs. Work in varying weather conditions and on active construction sites. Ordner Construction is an EOE.

Pay:

$90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
