Full Time Summary:
Central coordinator for hardware, software and various information protection requirements and issues at each property. This role ensures a positive information technology experience to business users and meeting corporate guidelines. This role will be a liaison between the business units and the information technology organization to ensure proper incident handling and compliance with requirements. The Site Coordinator reports to the senior team members of the Network Operations and Technical Support organization. He or she performs a variety of tasks including receiving and tracking department requests, managing access control through the DARF process, coordination of small projects and determination of need-based technology for their assigned properties. The Coordinator tracks all business project related equipment and resources. The Site Coordinator acts as a relationship manager on technology related issues. The Coordinator will oversee the dispatching of resources to various sites and providing first level support to business units during weekly site visits.
Responsibilities:
1. Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications. 2. Maintaining computer systems and networks. 3. Talking property employees through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone. 4. Troubleshooting of system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults. 5. Replacing parts as required. 6. Providing support, including procedural documentation. 7. Following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system. 8. Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues. 9. Responding within agreed time limits to call-outs. 10. Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to IT Technicians, IT personnel, or third parties, if appropriate). 11. Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time. 12. Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with customers and other professionals (e. g. , Systems, Networks, NOC, etc. ). 13. Testing and evaluating new technology. 14. Conducting electrical safety checks on computer equipment. 15. Takes a leadership role in implementing the technology plan 16. Understand the technology budget and work within this system to secure adequate resources for the property. 17. Help the property to develop and implement plans for the acquisition and maintenance of hardware and software. 18. Maintain an accurate inventory of computer hardware and software that belongs to the site.
