  • Full-time Reese Electric is hiring an Assistant Project Manager with construction project management training, hands-on project experience, and the ability to help manage projects from a financial standpoint.
This is primarily an office-based project management position, not a field supervision role. We are looking for someone who can support the financial and administrative side of electrical construction projects and help keep jobs organized, documented, and financially controlled from start to finish. The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with ownership, project managers, field leadership, vendors, general contractors, and customers. This position will assist with project documentation, RFIs, submittals, change orders, billing support, material tracking, purchase coordination, labor cost tracking, cost-to-complete reporting, and job cost management. A major part of this role is helping manage the financial performance of projects. This includes reviewing budgets, tracking actual costs, monitoring labor and material expenses, identifying cost impacts, following up on change orders, assisting with projections, and helping determine whether each project is on budget, ahead, or falling behind financially. We are looking for someone who understands that successful project management is more than scheduling and communication. It requires accuracy, follow-through, financial awareness, and the ability to keep project information current and organized so decisions can be made quickly and correctly. The ideal candidate will have experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, construction documents, job cost tracking, billing support, and cost-to-complete projections. Electrical construction experience is preferred, but construction project management training and related experience are required. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow in electrical construction project management and be part of a company focused on quality work, accountability, and profitable project performance.
