Construction Manager (Mercer, PA)

Construction Manager - Mercer, PA The scope of work will include installation of electrical distribution infrastructure such as duct banks, transformers, switchgear, and other components associated with a microgrid system supporting mission critical facilities. We are looking for a Construction Manager who can oversee field execution and coordinate closely with subcontractors, the project team, and government representatives to ensure the work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with USACE requirements.

Key responsibilities would include:

Overseeing day to day construction activities related to electrical and civil infrastructure installation Coordinating field operations for duct bank installation, underground electrical distribution, transformer placement, and switchgear installation Ensuring compliance with USACE specifications, contract requirements, and federal standards Working closely with the

SSHO, QA/QC

personnel, subcontractors, and project management team Monitoring schedule, productivity, and subcontractor performance Participating in site meetings with USACE representatives Supporting Activity Hazard Analyses (AHA), work plans, and construction documentation Ensuring compliance with

EM 385-1-1

(2024 edition) safety requirements Preferred experience for the candidate would include: Experience on federal or USACE projects is strongly preferred Demonstrated experience with underground electrical duct bank installation, medium voltage distribution, transformer installation, and switchgear installation Experience coordinating civil and electrical scopes such as excavation, trenching, and concrete encasement Ideally we are looking for someone who has managed complex electrical infrastructure projects, understands duct banks and medium voltage distribution, and can work effectively within the federal construction environment.
