We are a fast-growing residential roofing company seeking a high-performance General Manager to lead and scale our roofing division. This is not a maintenance role — it's an opportunity for a driven operator to take ownership of a growing business unit and help build something exceptional. What You'll Be Responsible For As General Manager, you will oversee the entire residential roofing operation from lead generation through project completion. You'll work directly with ownership to drive growth, improve systems, increase profitability, and build a strong company culture. Key Responsibilities Lead all daily operations of the residential roofing division Manage sales teams, production managers, project coordinators, and subcontractors Drive revenue growth while protecting margins and controlling overhead Oversee estimating, scheduling, production, customer communication, and final inspections Build and refine operational systems and SOPs to improve efficiency and scalability Recruit, train, and develop top-performing team members Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to company quality standards Handle high-level customer escalations and protect the company's reputation Maintain compliance with building codes, OSHA standards, and manufacturer requirements Collaborate with ownership on strategic growth initiatives What We're Looking For We're looking for a leader who combines construction expertise with business intelligence and people leadership. Qualifications 5+ years of leadership experience in residential construction Minimum 3 years of roofing industry management experience Strong understanding of residential roofing systems including shingle, metal, tile, and flat roofing Experience managing P&L performance and operational budgets Deep understanding of insurance restoration, retail roofing sales, and production workflows Proficiency with industry software such as AccuLynx, JobNimbus, RoofSnap, Hover, or similar platforms Knowledge of Xactimate and insurance claim processes preferred Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to inspect roofs, climb ladders, and navigate steep slopes when necessary
