About The Company My client is a design/build General Contractor with 50+ years of experience delivering projects across the commercial market, sectors including healthcare, retail, multi-family, hospitality, pharmaceutical, etc. They're seeking a superintendent experienced with ground-up work to join their team. About The Role The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing all phases of construction, including site development, underground utilities, structural systems, and vertical construction, with a strong preference for experience on podium-style foundations. Oversee all on-site construction activities from project conception through closeout Manage site work, including grading, excavation, erosion control, and underground utilities Supervise construction of podium-style foundations, concrete structures, and framing systems Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and field staff Ensure all work complies with contract documents, plans, specifications, and local codes Lead daily site meetings and coordinate with project managers and ownership teams Enforce jobsite safety Monitor quality control and ensure high standards of workmanship Track progress, manage site logistics, and anticipate and resolve construction issues Participate in preconstruction planning, constructability reviews, and value engineering efforts Maintain accurate field documentation, including daily reports, inspections, and punch lists Rewards And Benefits In addition to base salary my client offers a full benefits package including health insurance, PTO, competitive bonus structure, 401K matching, company vehicle, etc. They have a fantastic pipeline of work and can provide stability and career growth. Requirements Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent working on ground-up, commercial projects Proven experience delivering projects from conception through completion Strong background in site work, underground utilities, and structural construction Podium-style foundation experience a plus Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Proficiency with construction scheduling and field management software Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and fast-paced project environments INDH
