Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Estimator / Project Manager to join a growing team. This hybrid role is responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, managing construction projects from start to finish, coordinating with clients and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong estimating experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Estimating Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor bids Conduct quantity take-offs and pricing analysis Develop proposals and assist with bid submissions Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions Project Management Oversee projects from award through completion Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams Manage project documentation, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders Monitor project progress and ensure quality and safety standards are met Conduct site visits and attend project meetings as needed Resolve project issues and maintain strong client relationships Qualifications 3+ years of experience in construction estimating and/or project management Experience in commercial, industrial, multifamily, or residential construction preferred Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents Proficiency with estimating software, Microsoft Excel, and project management tools Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Sage, or similar software Knowledge of local building codes and permitting processes Apply Today If you are a motivated construction professional who enjoys both estimating and managing projects, we encourage you to apply and become part of a collaborative and growing team.
