Support the Project Manager to help plan upcoming projects and oversee completion. Additionally, support the Field construction teams to oversee their daily progress to ensure safety, quality, and efficiencies are being maintained.
Qualifications:
More than 5 years of proven working experience in the field. Advanced knowledge of construction processes regarding vendors/owners and their processes and standards. Expert knowledge of building products for our needs, relevant rules, and quality standards. Must be a good communicator and willing to teach others. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Must be able to read, understand, and teach construction documents to others. Duties /
Responsibilities:
Work closely with P.M to help plan upcoming projects. Regarding material needs, obstacles, training, etc. Continually check in with field teams (civil & tower) to ensure their needs are met. You should be their first point of contact regarding construction questions. Help develop team members. Help us determine lead potential and develop a plan to get them there. May have the need to help our leads become leaders in the field. Teach them how to communicate effectively to their helper. Work with our sub crews - (Tower & Civil) again, supporting them on-site if possible. If not, via phone calls/facetime. Create material lists for warehouse team to pull and stage for upcoming jobs.
Other Responsibilities:
It is not expected that you will need to travel to every site we have crews on…we understand this is NOT possible and isn't needed in every case. However, this position requires communication to those crews to just "check-in" and see if they're needing anything. Travel will be required, however again, working with our PM's during planning we anticipate travel schedule to be short each week. Possibly called upon to help procure materials, machines, etc. Willing to be a team player and do anything necessary to complete the job. •
