What You'll Do The Construction Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning, bidding, and execution of mixed-use construction projects from initial incentive through final close-out. This role serves as a key liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders, including clients, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors, ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with contractual requirements, schedule, budget, and company standards. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and internal stakeholders to define project scope, schedules, and deliverables. Assist in the development, monitoring, and control of project budgets and cost forecasts. Support subcontractor procurement, contract negotiations, and scope alignment to meet financial and project objectives. Maintain clear, consistent communication with clients, consultants, and internal leadership regarding project progress, schedule, and financial status. Prepare, maintain, and distribute project documentation, including contracts, specifications, change orders, and reports. Participate in pre-construction, pre-build, and coordination meetings to ensure alignment across all project stakeholders. Administer change orders in compliance with company policies and contractual requirements. Utilize SmartBuild, Buildertrend, and other company systems to manage project data and reporting. Ensure adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and ethical standards, aligned with SB Core Values. Identify project risks, cost variances, and schedule impacts, and assist in implementing corrective actions. Maintain accurate daily logs and ensure timely documentation of all project activities. Perform additional duties as assigned in support of project delivery and organizational growth. What We're Looking For Certificate or degree in Construction Management or a related discipline required. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial, residential, or mixed-use construction environments. Demonstrated experience in project estimating and full lifecycle project coordination. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, scheduling, and cost controls. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Working knowledge of contract administration, subcontract agreements, and project documentation. Proficiency with construction management software; experience with Buildertrend and SmartBuild preferred. Strong organizational, negotiation, and professional communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines. Experience working with subcontractors and/or self-performing construction teams preferred.
