Construction Project Manager (3 Years Experience)

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee commercial construction projects from planning through closeout. This role is responsible for managing project scope, schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Salary open to negotiation if relevant qualifications are met. The Project Manager reports to the Chief Operating Officer and oversees Superintendents, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers . Key Responsibilities Define project scope, deliverables, and required resources Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including critical path updates Prepare submittal registers and manage the submittal process Write and manage subcontracts and purchase orders to avoid procurement delays Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and regulatory requirements Manage project budgets and control costs throughout the project lifecycle Visit job sites weekly to monitor progress and coordination Conduct weekly subcontractor meetings and owner meetings, including documentation of meeting minutes Manage subcontractor and supplier relationships Approve and cost-code invoices Prepare and submit monthly pay applications and manage subcontractor pay applications Process and manage change orders Coordinate work between architects, engineers, designers, and subcontractors Ensure compliance with all building codes, safety standards, and contractual obligations Provide regular progress updates related to schedule, budget, and project milestones Conduct monthly job cost meetings with company leadership Manage project closeout and final documentation Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Building Construction, Civil Engineering, Architecture , or related field 3-5 years of construction project management experience Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints Proficiency with ProCore project management software Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and general construction software Experience with budgeting, scheduling, contract management, and cost control Strong negotiation and subcontractor management skills High level of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, organized leader, and problem-solver who can manage multiple project stakeholders while maintaining strict adherence to schedules and budgets.
