Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee complex construction projects from inception to completion. This energized role requires a proactive leader who can coordinate multiple teams, manage project schedules, and ensure that all aspects of construction are executed efficiently, safely, and within scope. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for construction management, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results on time and on budget. Duties Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget parameters. Develop and help implement project management software or similar project management software to coordinate timelines across multiple teams. Oversee procurement processes including construction estimating, contracts, and vendor negotiations to secure necessary resources. Monitor construction site activities daily, ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality control protocols, and schematic drawings. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for project documentation, tracking progress, and facilitating communication among stakeholders. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately to guide on-site activities and ensure alignment with design specifications. Coordinate with engineers, architects, subcontractors, and clients to resolve issues promptly and keep projects on track. Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and progress reports. Conduct site inspections to verify work quality, safety compliance, and adherence to civil 3D plans or other technical data. Implement effective time management strategies to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Qualifications Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in civil or heavy civil projects. Proficiency in project scheduling tools such as Primavera P6; experience with construction management software like ProCore or Bluebeam is highly desirable. Solid understanding of construction estimating processes and contract administration. Hands-on experience with construction site activities including blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and site supervision. Familiarity with technical software such as Civil 3D for design coordination or HeavyBid for cost estimation is preferred. Strong knowledge of project coordination practices within the construction industry; excellent organizational skills are essential. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced environments. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members, clients, vendors, and regulatory agencies. Relevant certifications such as OSHA safety training or PMP (Project Management Professional) are advantageous but not mandatory. $66,428.09 - $100,000.00 per year
