This role provides leadership, staff development, training, and performance management while supporting individuals through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized services. The Day Program Supervisor collaborates closely with individuals served, their families, and interdisciplinary support teams to promote meaningful participation, independence, and person-centered outcomes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develop and implement daily activity schedules and routines based on each individual's Individual Program Plan (IPP) Supervise and support staff to ensure quality service delivery and compliance with program standards Assist individuals with personal care needs, including toileting and hygiene assistance when necessary Prepare meals and support individuals during mealtime activities Facilitate daily living, social, recreational, and vocational activities Transport individuals to and from their homes or facilities using company vehicles, as needed Participate in assessment, planning, and progress evaluation meetings Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including daily notes and progress reports Monitor IPP goals and communicate updates or concerns to leadership Attend staff meetings, trainings, and continuing education opportunities Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities preferred in Day Program setting. Must be at least 21 years of age Valid California Driver's License is required Bachelor's degree preferred, High School diploma acceptable Current First Aid and CPR certification required (Can be provided) Direct Support Professional (DSP) Year 1 & Year 2 certifications preferred, or willingness to obtain within the first 6 months of employment CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification preferred, or willingness to obtain within the first 6 months of employment Must successfully complete all pre-employment requirements, including background clearance Physical Requirements Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist individuals throughout the workday Additional Information This is an on-site position.
