Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Federal Construction Project Manager/Estimator, where you will lead and coordinate complex construction projects primarily for federal clients. This role offers a blend of remote work and on-site visits to project locations, ensuring seamless project execution from inception to completion. You will leverage your expertise in construction estimating, project management, and site supervision to deliver high-quality results that meet stringent federal standards. Your proactive approach and technical proficiency will drive project success while maintaining safety, compliance, and budget adherence. Responsibilities Develop detailed construction estimates utilizing industry-standard software such as HeavyBid, Bluebeam, and Construction estimating tools. Manage all phases of federal construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation using Primavera P6 and other project management software. Conduct site visits to oversee construction activities, verify work quality, ensure safety protocols are followed, and address any issues promptly. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, contracts, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution. Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth communication and project flow. Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation including schedules, progress reports, change orders, and safety records. Ensure compliance with federal regulations and standards while managing project timelines and budgets effectively. Requirements Proven experience in construction management or estimating within federal or heavy civil projects. Strong proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and related tools. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Knowledge of contracts, procurement processes, and regulatory compliance specific to federal projects. Excellent project scheduling skills with a focus on time management and resource coordination. Site visit experience in heavy civil or infrastructure construction environments is highly preferred. Effective communication skills for engaging with diverse teams and stakeholders at all levels. Pay:
