Job Description

The Opportunity We are a lean, highly profitable, 9-person construction (3) and manufacturing (6) firm that punches way above its weight class. We specialize in building the physical infrastructure that powers data centers—specifically high-security caging, hot/cold aisle containment, and multi-tier conveyance, as well as branch circuit power to the racks. We are currently at $10M in revenue and scaling rapidly to $30M. We don't just need a "site watcher." We need a Senior Superintendent who is a true builder. We need a field general who can flawlessly execute projects from RFP to closeout, while also helping our leadership team build the scalable standard operating procedures (SOPs) that will allow us to triple our volume.
Compensation:
$130-150k + Project Incentive Bonus. Run a clean job that checks all the boxes and we share a portion of the gross margin. Who You Are (The Mindset)
A Gritty Leader:
You command respect from subcontractors not by yelling, but through extreme competence. You know how this stuff physically goes together.
A Standards Obsessive:
You understand that in mission-critical environments, missing a single bolt on a security cage means failing an audit. You do not tolerate sloppy work or "good enough" attitudes.
A Process Builder:
You hate making the same mistake twice. When a job goes sideways, you don't just fix it—you help us build a system to ensure it never happens on the next site.
An EOS Operator:
You appreciate extreme ownership. We run our business on the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS). There is nowhere to hide, and you prefer it that way. You own your numbers and your schedule. What You Will Do (The "Seat")
Flawless Field Execution:
You are the ultimate authority on the job site. You manage the daily schedule, coordinate subcontractors, stage materials, and ensure the project is built to exact specifications.
Subcontractor Accountability:
You hold our vendor partners to the fire. If they are late or their quality drops, you address it immediately and protect the company's margin.
Safety & Compliance:
You maintain absolute control over site safety. In data centers, safety and compliance are non-negotiable. Build the
Playbook:
As a foundational member of our field leadership, you will work directly with our PMs and Operations leadership to refine how we build. You will help create the templates, checklists, and staging processes that our junior guys will eventually follow.
Triage and Problem Solving:
When the wrong containment panels show up, you don't just call the office and wait. You aggressively re-sequence the work and keep the crew moving. The "No Corporate Trailer" Reality Check We are a $10M company with 9 people. We do not have layers of corporate fat. If you are used to sitting in an air-conditioned mega-GC trailer processing submittals while three assistant superintendents do the actual walking, do not apply. • You will be on the floor. You will wear your boots. You will occasionally have to pick up a wrench or unload a truck to keep the schedule intact. We need a "Player-Coach" who has the experience to build a scalable department, but the grit to still do the work. Qualifications 7+ years of commercial construction experience as a Lead Superintendent. Direct experience in Mission Critical, Data Center, or highly technical industrial environments is a massive advantage. Strong mechanical aptitude—you must fundamentally understand how custom metal, caging, and containment structures are assembled. Proven track record of finishing jobs on schedule, under budget, and with zero safety incidents. Willingness to travel as client demands dictate, which can be up to 75% at some times, or 0% while we are in a lull.
Pay:
