Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable New Construction Consultant to join our team. This role focuses on developing and maintaining relationships with contractors, builders, and DIY homeowners while providing expert guidance on product selection, project planning, and installation best practices. The ideal candidate combines strong sales ability with hands-on construction knowledge and a proactive approach to networking and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, and homeowners through in-person visits, phone outreach, networking events, and job site interactions Actively generate new business opportunities and expand Hall's Window Center's presence in the new construction market Consult with customers to understand project needs and recommend appropriate window and door solutions Accurately prepare quotes, bids, and product orders Ensure products are specified, sold, and delivered correctly for each project Provide guidance on installation methods, building codes, and product performance Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction Stay up to date on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor offerings

Qualifications:

Experience in construction, building materials, or related industry (windows/doors preferred) Proven ability to develop relationships and generate new business Strong communication and interpersonal skills Sales experience with a consultative approach Knowledge of construction processes, plans, and specifications Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven Ability to read blueprints and project plans is a plus
