ESI is one of the largest construction companies in Colorado that self-performs a variety of services including Underground Utilities, Milling, Asphalt, Paving, Grading, Concrete, and Earthwork for Infrastructure and Infrastructure Improvement Projects in the commercial, municipal, and federal sectors.POSITION SUMMARY
Coordinate, usually through subordinate supervisory personnel, activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems. Participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, implementation and have strong knowledge of Submittals and Federal work.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Submittals from computer. Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines. Maintain ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and qualify for company auto insurance. Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems. Prepare handoffs and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to Project Scopes, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. Prepare and submit field presentation documents and assist with project administration documents. Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients, representing the owner or developer. Plan, organize, or direct activities concerned with the construction or maintenance of structures, facilities, or systems. Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, or other regulations. Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods with construction and operations teams. Obtain all necessary permits and licenses. Determine labor requirements for dispatching workers to construction sites. Assist PM with assigning crews and needs for project success and life cycles Develop or implement environmental protection programs.SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education:
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)Experience:
3 years related experience in field and office, Bluebeam, Bid to Win, HCCS, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office. Other Requirements Clean Driving record and the ability to pass a background investigation, and drug screening. Able to access State & Federal Facilities.PHYSICAL DEMANDS
