Your Impact You will lead the safe, compliant, and efficient management of legacy site operations. By overseeing site teams, contractors, and projects, you will help ensure environmental stewardship, regulatory compliance, and positive community relationships while delivering ongoing operational and project outcomes. As part of our team, you will Lead and support site teams, contractors, and consultants across daily operations and projects Drive a strong safety culture through visible leadership and safe work practices Oversee environmental compliance, monitoring, and regulatory requirements Plan and execute both routine and one-time site activities and projects Manage site budgets and support annual planning processes Develop scopes of work and support contractor selection and oversight Act as the primary point of contact for local communities and external stakeholders Continuously improve processes and site performance Prerequisites for your success in this role Experience leading teams in operations, environmental, or legacy site environments Knowledge of environmental and health & safety regulations Strong project planning and execution capabilities Experience managing contractors, consultants, and site-based activities Ability to balance operational, regulatory, and community priorities Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills Experience with construction, water treatment, or site maintenance activities preferred Your work environment You will work at a legacy site location, leading on-site teams and activities. This role includes regular interaction with contractors, regulators, and local communities, with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and operational execution. The site is located in Telluride Colorado. Your expected work schedule will be Monday-Friday We understand no candidate will meet every single desired qualification. The salary range offered for this role is USD $107,900- 143,800. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate's salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont. This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company's performance and their own individual performance. This role also will be eligible for participation in a discretionary long-term incentive program, pursuant to which an employee may receive awards based on their level and individual performance.
