This key on-site role will lead the team responsible for final adjustments and commissioning, in close collaboration with the project team, sub-suppliers, and the client. Depending on operational needs, the role may extend beyond handover to support the customer during daily plant operations. This may include operational oversight, maintenance and service activities, and coordination of third-party vendor support as needed. Duties Acts as on-site manager Oversee the daily operational process Participate in weekly status update meetings with project team Act as the primary point of contact for the client, addressing daily operational needs and resolving issues promptly Creation, implementation and instructing of training programs Coordinate with the dedicated project team in Norway to ensure seamless communication and project alignment Regular working hours are Monday through Friday, 08:00 to 16:00 with some on call work possible (evening/weekends) Desired Qualifications Chief engineer or marine engineer with 5 years + considered an asset Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems and related processes A diploma or degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, millwright or machining, or 5 years of relevant work experience may be considered Previous experience working with large-scale land-based processing plants considered an asset Proven experience in installation supervision, pre-commissioning, and commissioning type work Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience understanding processes in a complete system operation This role offers an exciting opportunity for energetic leaders passionate about maintaining high standards and service excellence.
