In this pivotal role, you will oversee all operations, manage teams, and ensure exceptional customer service while growth and operational efficiency. Your leadership will foster a positive work environment, promote best practices, and uphold company standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence store performance and deliver outstanding experiences for both customers and staff. Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer service functions. Manage team schedules, conduct employee orientation, training, and development to enhance performance. Oversee recruiting efforts, including interviewing candidates and onboarding new staff members. Implement effective merchandising strategies and oversee stock replenishment, stocking, and inventory control. Handle purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and POS (Point of Sale) system management to maximize profitability. Monitor cash handling procedures, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and budget adherence with precision. Foster a team-oriented environment through supervision, coaching, and motivating staff to achieve sales targets and operational excellence. Requirements Proven management experience in retail or similar environments with supervising responsibilities. Strong skills in negotiation, sales management, and customer service to enhance store performance. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for engaging with a broad customer base. Experience with retail math, retail sales techniques, pricing strategies, and inventory management systems such as POS platforms. Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently. Knowledge of payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and administrative tasks related to store operations. Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in a grocery store or retail setting preferred.
