Full Job Description Electrical Resource Coordinator Contract Length:

36/hr Job Purpose The Resource Coordinator is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating Electric Distribution work across Rhode Island. This role ensures efficient delivery of work to both internal crews and external contractors and works closely with supervisors supporting line and substation operations. Key Responsibilities Plan, schedule, and manage construction work and resource assignments to meet business needs in the most efficient and cost-effective manner Coordinate short- and long-term Opex and Capital projects, ensuring all customer and project deadlines are achieved Optimize scheduling based on workforce availability, performance, geography, and real-time operational needs Utilize internal systems to prepare comprehensive project packages for contractors, including job cards, drawings, materials, and required documentation Track and manage work backlog to ensure timely completion of all projects Balance and allocate internal and external resources to meet both immediate and future workload demands Monitor field work to ensure proper use of materials, equipment, and adherence to schedules Identify and escalate risks related to scheduling, materials, equipment, or field conditions, and recommend solutions Support reliability initiatives by ensuring all required activities are properly scheduled and executed Prioritize and bundle maintenance and contingency work to improve efficiency and maximize resource utilization Lead and facilitate construction and coordination meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors and stakeholders, providing guidance on scheduling and project updates Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to support operational goals and adherence to company processes Maintain a working understanding of overhead, underground, or substation operations (roles may be specialized by function) Participate in storm response and emergency operations as required Qualifications Associate's degree from a technical school preferred 4-6+ years of relevant experience, ideally within the utility or energy industry Experience in scheduling, operations, and project/program management Proven ability to manage projects and coordinate teams independently Strong planning, organization, and prioritization skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams Knowledge of Rhode Island Energy policies and operational practices is a plus High level of accountability and commitment to performance excellence Proficient in Microsoft Office and utility/work management systems #INDGEN #ZR
