Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Superintendent to lead field operations on healthcare ground-up construction projects in the Charleston area. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day field operations on healthcare construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel. Enforce strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized jobsite. Monitor project progress, resolve field issues, and proactively manage schedule and quality challenges. Conduct regular site inspections, quality control reviews, and maintain detailed daily reports. Collaborate closely with Project Managers, clients, architects, and healthcare facility stakeholders. Requirements 8+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a focus on healthcare ground-up construction projects. Strong knowledge of healthcare construction means and methods, infection control protocols, and complex coordination. Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with construction management software and the ability to read blueprints/specifications. OSHA certification and a demonstrated commitment to safety culture. Local candidates or those willing to be based in the Charleston, SC area preferred.
