Senior Superintendent Job Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to oversee and manage field staff on large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction management and will be responsible for ensuring quality control, safety standards, and efficient coordination of all project activities. Responsibilities + Oversee, manage, and mentor field staff on project. + Develop and implement site logistics plan. + Manage and coordinate all trade partners, including scheduling and scope of work. + Develop construction schedules, maintain regular updates, and provide solutions for new activities and impacts. + Perform constructability review. + Coordinate with authorities having jurisdiction and manage all required special inspections. + Ensure quality control in accordance with the established quality requirements. + Lead and enforce safety standards and requirements. Essential Skills + 10+ years of experience as a commercial construction superintendent. + Experience managing projects valued at $50 Million or more. + OSHA training. + Ability to read and understand technical specifications and architectural drawings. + Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, BlueBeam, and various scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera, Phoenix). + Experience with Building Information Modeling. + Excellent listening skills and strong verbal and written communication skills. + Active participant in a team environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Previous experience in multi-family construction projects. + Strong leadership and mentoring abilities. Work Environment The work environment is based in a construction setting, specifically on a multi-family construction project valued at $80 million. The role requires active involvement on-site, ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality control measures. Candidates should be prepared to collaborate with a diverse team and manage multiple trade partners efficiently. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Charleston, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $155000.00/yr.
