Construction Superintendent/Project Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Superintendent/Project Manager to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. This role combines the strategic planning and coordination of construction activities with hands-on supervision of on-site operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and proficiency with industry-standard software tools. You will be instrumental in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards, all while fostering a safe and collaborative work environment. Duties Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing. Coordinate project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to ensure timely delivery. Oversee daily site operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to accurately execute project plans. Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate smooth communication and project flow. Utilize construction estimating tools like HeavyBid for cost control and budgeting accuracy. Manage procurement processes using construction management software such as ProCore or Bluebeam for document control and communication. Monitor project progress through regular site inspections and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, permits, and safety standards on-site. Maintain detailed documentation of project activities, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and daily logs. Qualifications Proven experience in construction site management with a strong understanding of heavy civil or commercial projects. Proficiency with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and other related tools. Solid knowledge of project scheduling techniques and construction estimating practices. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multiple teams effectively. Excellent time management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines without compromising safety or quality standards. Prior experience working on large-scale construction projects with a focus on civil or infrastructure work is highly desirable. Familiarity with contracts administration and change order processes.
