Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a diligent Construction Manager to serve as the Owner's Representative for a complex hospitality renovation project. This is a 6-month contract role running through project completion. In this position, you will act as the primary liaison between ownership, the general contractor, and project vendors, ensuring all construction activities align with design intent, budget, schedule, and brand standards.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the owner's point of contact during all phases of construction, through punch and closeout. Oversee day-to-day on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with project drawings, brand standards, and local regulations Coordinate effectively with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain clear communication and efficient workflow. Manage and oversee construction documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders. Review and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and contracts to verify compliance with design intent, specifications, and brand standards Conduct daily site inspections to ensure quality standards are met and resolve any issues promptly. Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues or delays proactively.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects; hospitality experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to provide strategic guidance throughout the project lifecycle, including advising on alternative approaches to achieve client objectives Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations. Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings, specifications, and contract documents. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to deliver projects on schedule and to high-quality standards.

From $2,000.00 per week
