MEP Superintendent

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Superintendent to lead and oversee complex MEP construction projects from inception to completion. This role is vital in ensuring that all MEP systems are installed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, extensive site supervision experience, and proficiency with industry-leading software tools. As an energetic leader, you will coordinate teams, manage schedules, and ensure projects adhere to budgets and specifications while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Lead on-site supervision of MEP installation activities, ensuring alignment with project plans, schematics, and blueprints. Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate smooth workflow and timely delivery of materials and services. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and other construction management tools to develop schedules, track progress, and manage documentation. Oversee project scheduling and resource allocation to meet deadlines while managing budgets effectively. Conduct quality control inspections using tools like ohmmeters and ensure adherence to OSHA safety standards across all construction sites. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to verify installation accuracy. Supervise subcontractors and field personnel; provide guidance on technical issues including pipe pipelines, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and other MEP components. Manage contracts and procurement processes related to MEP work; ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Implement rigorous safety protocols; conduct safety meetings and inspections regularly to promote a safe working environment. Maintain detailed records of daily activities, safety incidents, progress reports, and quality assurance documentation. Experience Proven heavy experience in construction site supervision with a focus on MEP systems installation. Extensive knowledge of construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6 (Primavera), HeavyBid, and other relevant tools. Strong background in project scheduling, budgeting, blueprint reading, construction estimating, and contract management. Demonstrated supervising experience leading teams on large-scale construction projects involving pipelines or complex mechanical/electrical systems. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and best practices for construction safety across diverse site environments. Hands-on experience reading schematics and technical drawings for mechanical or electrical systems; proficiency with testing tools like ohmmeters is a plus. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining high standards of quality control and safety compliance. Pay:

$90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
