HVAC Plumbing Estimator and Project Manager in Spartanburg,SC,US

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial / Industrial HVAC and Plumbing Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for development of Estimates, Bids, and Bid Submissions as well as assisting the Project Managers in the planning, execution, and completion of projects while ensuring they are delivered within budget, scope and on time. You will collaborate with various owners, architects, and engineers, vendors, and subcontractors. This position is ideal for individuals with vast experience in MEP construction field and looking to further develop their skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Development of project estimates and bid submissions. Coordinate the successful transfer of awarded projects to the assigned project manager. Assist with submittals, material and equipment procurement. Attend Pre-Bid and Bid Opening meetings. Read, interpret and understand project documents to include blueprints, schematics, project manuals and specifications, addenda, etc. to facilitate project estimate. Responsible for field analysis and measurements for estimating accurate project cost. Perform quantity take-offs, organize and price information. Develop relationships and communicate with project design teams, vendors, suppliers and subcontractors to secure accurate pricing for projects. Organize and maintain complete and accurate project records. Assist project team members with their estimating needs, including but not limited to change orders. Perform other related duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of Mechanical Construction Estimating and Project Management Experience Candidates must have extensive knowledge of Hydronic HVAC systems and Plumbing systems and have been on the construction and installation side of these systems for a minimum of 5 years. Proficiency in O365 and pdf software. Strong ability to read, interpret and understand blueprints, schematics, project specifications and documents. Knowledge of Construction Means and Methods, Code requirements. Familiarity with Sage is a plus. Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong writing and communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and accuracy in all tasks. Previous experience in Commercial / Industrial HVAC project estimating and management is required.
