Job Description

Plumbing & Mechanical Piping Project Manager Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Plumbing & Mechanical Piping Project Manager to oversee commercial mechanical piping projects from planning through completion. This is an opportunity to work on complex commercial mechanical systems and projects. This role is responsible for managing project schedules, coordinating field operations, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management experience in commercial plumbing and mechanical piping systems, with exposure to complex mechanical equipment such as boilers, chillers, and advanced mechanical systems. This is an on-site position, and relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates. Key Responsibilities Manage commercial plumbing and mechanical piping projects from preconstruction through closeout Coordinate project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery Work closely with field supervisors, foremen, and installation crews to support project execution Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documentation Manage procurement of materials and coordinate with vendors and subcontractors Track project costs, change orders, and overall financial performance Maintain clear communication with clients, internal teams, and project stakeholders Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and compliance standards Qualifications Minimum 8+ years of experience in plumbing or mechanical piping within commercial construction Proven experience as a Project Manager in mechanical piping or commercial plumbing projects Strong understanding of mechanical systems including boilers, chillers, and related equipment Experience managing budgets, schedules, and multiple project stakeholders Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications Preferred Qualifications Previous field experience as a plumber, pipefitter, or mechanical installer Experience working with large commercial or institutional mechanical systems Compensation & Benefits Profit Sharing Bonus Program Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates Robust Benefits Package & 401K w/match
