Project Superintendent

Job Summary We are seeking a Detail-oriented Project Superintendent to lead and oversee Residential / Multi Use construction projects from inception to completion. This pivotal role involves coordinating all on-site activities, managing subcontractors, ensuring safety compliance, code compliance and maintaining project schedules and budgets. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach, exceptional management skills, good communication skills and a passion for delivering high-quality construction projects on time and within scope. Responsibilities Oversee daily construction site operations, ensuring work progresses according to project plans, schedules, and safety standards. Coordinate with project manager, engineer, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless communication and workflow. Manage project schedules using Sage construction management software to meet deadlines effectively. Supervise on-site personnel, including subcontractors and labor teams, fostering a safe and productive work environment. Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to verify project specifications and quality standards. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, enforce OSHA safety regulations, and implement quality control measures. Prepare and manage project documentation such as daily reports, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and safety logs. Ensure compliance with all relevant construction codes and regulations while maintaining high standards of workmanship. Qualifications Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in supervising large-scale projects. Extensive on-site construction experience with proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Familiarity with construction management software or the ability to learn quickly with little oversight. Knowledge of contracts management and construction estimating processes. Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and best practices for construction site safety protocols. Excellent management skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively while fostering collaboration. Ability to read electrical schematics; experience with Ohmmeter usage is a plus. Skilled in project scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and managing multiple stakeholders simultaneously. Effective communicator with problem-solving abilities; capable of managing tight deadlines under pressure. Pay:

$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
