Job Description

Job Overview Life Bridges is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in achieving meaningful, fulfilling lives. We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and dependable Zone Lead (Team Lead) to support our Day and Residential Services programs. This position plays a key role in supporting daily operations while serving as a mentor, coach, and resource for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). The Zone Lead helps ensure high-quality services, promotes a positive team culture, and supports individuals served in reaching their personal goals. Duties Support the daily operations of Day or Residential Services programs. Provide coaching, mentoring, and real-time guidance to DSPs. Promote quality service delivery and person-centered supports. Assist with training implementation and ensure staff adherence to agency standards and procedures. Model professional behavior and agency values. Help identify and resolve challenges through collaboration and problem-solving. Monitor service quality and assist in maintaining compliance with agency, state, and regulatory requirements. Foster a positive, supportive, and team-oriented work environment. Support continuous improvement efforts within the program. Serve as a resource for staff and help ensure individuals served receive exceptional care and support. Skills/Required High School Diploma and/or equivalent Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide guidance, constructive feedback, and encouragement. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with a solution-focused mindset. Positive, professional attitude and strong work ethic. Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to lead by example and model agency values and best practices. Commitment to quality services and continuous improvement. Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, high-demand environment. Comfortable providing hands-on coaching and support in service settings. Will be required to become a trainer for plans to implement with DSPs. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Flexibility to attend occasional meetings outside normal work hours with advance notice. Ability to maintain all required agency training certifications throughout employment. Must be able to lift 50lbs (occasionally 100lbs - 150lbs with a lift). May work at different job sites. Supervisor can move staff as needed to cover homes/shifts.
Preferred:
Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience. Experience working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD).
Pay:
Up to $17.70 per hour
