Grade / Utility Foreman

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Grade / Utility to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will oversee the installation, maintenance, and management of utility systems and grading operations on construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that projects progress smoothly, safely, and efficiently, supporting the overall success of our construction endeavors. Responsibilities Assist in planning and executing grading and utility installation activities in accordance with project specifications and schematics Operate construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and other construction management tools to track progress, update schedules, and manage documentation Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise execution of work Conduct site inspections to verify quality control standards are met and identify potential issues early Supervise and coordinate with team members and subcontractors to ensure safety protocols are followed according to OSHA standards Manage project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation using Primavera P6 or similar tools Use technical equipment such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and ensure all work complies with safety regulations and project requirements Oversee the management of contracts related to utility work, ensuring scope adherence and timely completion Perform quality control checks on installed utilities and grading work, ensuring adherence to specifications Maintain detailed records of daily activities, safety incidents, equipment usage, and project progress Experience Proven experience in construction management with a focus on utility installation or grading projects Supervising experience on construction sites with a strong understanding of safety practices and OSHA regulations Hands-on experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for utility systems Familiarity with construction estimating software such as HeavyBid or equivalent tools Knowledge of project scheduling software like Primavera P6 or Primavera for effective timeline management Experience working with pipeline projects or heavy civil infrastructure is preferred Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols including OSHA compliance standards Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and teams effectively in fast-paced environments Practical knowledge of using tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting during utility installations Join us as a Grade / Utility to be part of a dedicated team committed to building resilient infrastructure while advancing your career in a vibrant construction environment.
