Job Title:
Lease Construction Manager Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Lease Construction Manager to join our team in Abilene, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the complete delivery of Ready for Service (RFS) for each lease site location, ensuring compliance with Data Center Development (DCD) guidelines and standards. This role requires a strong background in data center design, engineering, and project/construction management, with an emphasis on smart growth, efficiency, and delivering a trusted experience. Responsibilities Serve as an advocate for managing a safe worksite. Identify and manage stakeholder dependencies and construction deliverables with various teams such as E2E, Security (DCPS), and Data Center Engineering (DCE). Manage lease providers and support associated teams in delivering RFS for each lease site location. Maintain lease agreement requirements using best practices. Drive the deployment of solutions globally across DCD projects. Facilitate decision-making to drive solutions, schedules, and manage change as required. Provide project single point of contact for project development and delivery. Coordinate meetings and activities of Lease Providers and internal SMEs. Attend scheduled owner/architect/contractor (OAC) and other project meetings. Report project progress on scope, schedule, and budget as required. Ensure lease provider's compliance to lease agreement contract. Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in construction project management of Data Centers or Mission Critical Facilities. Ability to meet specialized security screening requirements. 10+ years of experience in construction project management. Additional Skills & Qualifications PMP certification. LEED certification. Degrees or professional licenses in Construction Management or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering. Construction Health & Safety Knowledge. OSHA 30 or equivalent preferred. Ability to read and understand commercial lease agreements. Self-starter with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Experience managing large multi-faceted projects. Ability to influence cross-discipline teams. Work Environment The position is based onsite in Abilene, TX, with a standard schedule of Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week. Equipment required includes a laptop, mouse, headset, and full PPE (Steel toe-boots, vest, gloves, and hard hat) provided by the supplier. The work environment emphasizes safety, quality, schedule adherence, and cost management as core values. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Abilene, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $95.00 - $110.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
