(2 years exp required) Commercial Construction Project Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent time management skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction management practices. This role requires effective coordination with various stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with all regulations. Duties Lead the planning and implementation of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Review and bid new projects as necessary Utilize construction management software and tools such as Procore and Smartsheets for project scheduling and documentation. Coordinate project activities, including site inspections, contractor meetings, and progress assessments. Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks while managing potential delays. Review contracts and agreements to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations. Oversee the Superintendent at the construction site to ensure safety standards are met and that work is performed according to plans. Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to facilitate collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare regular reports on project status, including updates on timelines, budgets, and any issues that arise. Experience Proven experience in construction management or a related field is essential. Proficiency in project scheduling tools such as Procore is highly desirable. Familiarity with construction management and practices is required. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with contract negotiations and understanding of legal aspects related to construction projects is beneficial. Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of construction site operations and safety regulations is a must.
