Regular travel between job sites within Austin, TX and surrounding areas Position Overview Vanguard Maintenance & Electrical is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee multiple electrical construction job sites throughout Austin, TX and surrounding areas. This role is responsible for leading field operations, coordinating manpower and schedules, enforcing safety and quality standards, and ensuring projects are executed efficiently and in alignment with company and client expectations. The ideal candidate is a strong field leader with extensive electrical construction experience, capable of managing multiple crews, Foremen, and trade partners across several active job sites. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily electrical construction activities across multiple job sites within the Austin, TX area Travel regularly between job sites to monitor progress, safety, and quality Lead, mentor, and manage Foremen and field crews to meet project schedules and production goals Coordinate manpower planning, crew allocation, and work sequencing across projects Ensure work is performed in compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies Conduct routine jobsite walks to verify installation quality and safety compliance Coordinate with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and office leadership to align field execution with project plans Review drawings, specifications, and work plans to ensure proper installation Identify and proactively resolve field issues impacting schedule, productivity, or quality Enforce QA/QC standards and hold crews accountable to workmanship expectations Maintain professional communication with clients, inspectors, and trade partners Track daily progress, manpower, and jobsite conditions and report to leadership as required Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in electrical construction with supervisory responsibility Proven experience managing multiple job sites simultaneously Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods, and construction sequencing Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and crew management skills Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the DFW Metroplex Preferred Qualifications Commercial and industrial electrical construction experience OSHA 30 certification preferred Experience coordinating with multiple trade partners and inspectors Strong planning and scheduling capabilities Compensation & Benefits Company Vehicle or truck allowance (if applicable) Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off Long-term career growth opportunities Why Vanguard Leadership role with visibility and impact across multiple active projects Consistent work within the DFW Metroplex (no long-term out-of-town travel) Strong support from project management and executive leadership Company culture focused on safety, quality, accountability, and execution Clear advancement opportunities within the organization
