In this pivotal role, you will develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety programs that ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will foster a safety-first culture, minimize risks, and promote occupational health across all construction sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence safety practices in a fast-paced, innovative environment dedicated to building reliable telecom infrastructure. Duties Develop and execute robust HSE policies aligned with industry standards such as OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), NEC (National Electrical Code), and local regulations to ensure site compliance. Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards related to telecom construction activities, implementing mitigation strategies proactively. Oversee daily safety operations on construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Lead incident investigations, prepare detailed reports, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Coordinate with project managers and construction teams to integrate safety into project planning, scheduling, and execution phases. Manage compliance management systems using construction management software to track safety metrics, inspections, training records, and audit results. Promote a culture of continuous improvement by conducting regular safety training sessions focused on OSHA standards, workers' compensation procedures, and occupational health best practices. Monitor environmental health standards related to construction activities and ensure proper waste disposal and pollution controls are maintained. Qualifications Proven experience in construction management with a focus on health and safety within telecom or similar infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, NEC codes, workers' compensation processes, and compliance management practices. Demonstrated ability to manage risk assessments, occupational health programs, and EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) initiatives effectively. Familiarity with construction site experience including site inspections, hazard identification, and safety audits. Proficiency in construction management software for tracking safety data and reporting metrics. Excellent communication skills for training teams, conducting safety briefings, and liaising with regulatory agencies.
