Full time General Information/Job Summary Assist the Project Manager with planning, organization, and processes to meet the Company's cost, schedule, quality control, equipment and material resource usage, and safety objectives. Responsibilities/Competencies Understanding of project proposal and contract documents. Assist the PM with coordination of construction activities with the owner, subcontractors, and company personnel. Assist the PM with tracking of resources and subcontractors. Promote and enforce safety as a priority as part of the Company's management philosophy. Assist the project team as needed in all aspects including purchasing, engineering, accounting, cost, and construction administrative functions as they relate to the project. Assist Project Controls team with planning, cost management, estimating, takeoffs, progress tracking, reporting, scheduling, and change / risk management. Maintain working relationships with Owner, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to facilitate construction activities. Take meeting minutes for all project meetings. Review, receive and assist in the approval of subcontractor and vendor payment applications and miscellaneous project invoices. Track and assist in preparing change orders (proposals) to owners, design team, subcontractors, and others. Assist in ensuring timely and accurate billings and accounts receivables. Assist in ensuring timely project completion through project scheduling, expediting of material deliveries and the management of material and document submittals/approvals. Participate in regularly schedule project staff meetings. Assist the project with the Closeout process. Enforce and adhere to all Policies and Processes as it relates to this position. Actively participates with internal team(s) and focuses on continuous improvement. Project based position. Requirements Documented experience in assisting with the managing of construction projects Able to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities to achieve maximum efficiency. Self-motivated with skills to motivate others. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong computer skills. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting / standing at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to walk the property and lay down yards.
