This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee large-scale construction sites, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, extensive construction site experience, and a passion for driving excellence in industrial environments. As a key leader on-site, you will be instrumental in maintaining quality standards, managing subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Duties Lead and supervise all field activities on industrial construction sites, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth workflow and timely delivery of project milestones. Oversee daily site operations including blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating to ensure accurate execution of work. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and Bluebeam to monitor progress, update schedules, and manage documentation. Conduct quality control inspections using tools like ohmmeters and ensure compliance with OSHA standards and other safety regulations. Manage project scheduling using Procore, Microsoft Office, et al to optimize resource allocation and meet project deadlines. Review contracts, change orders, and budgets to maintain financial control and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle. Supervise subcontractors and onsite personnel; provide training on construction site safety procedures and best practices. Ensure all work aligns with technical schematics, blueprints, and engineering specifications while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Qualifications Proven experience in heavy industrial construction management with a strong background in supervising large teams on active sites. Extensive knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, HeavyBid or equivalent tools. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and experience conducting safety audits on construction sites. Skilled in project scheduling techniques using Primavera P6 or similar platforms; capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent management skills with a track record of supervising diverse teams effectively while fostering a culture of safety and quality. Familiarity with contracts administration including review and negotiation of change orders and scope adjustments. Experience with construction estimating processes for budgeting purposes; ability to interpret construction documents for cost control purposes. Knowledge of pipeline projects or similar heavy civil infrastructure is a plus. Ability to operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters for quality assurance purposes.
