- Coordinate and supervise crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials for multiple jobs, ensuring standards are achieved, project schedules are met and budgets are maintained.
- Supervise a team of workers, including managing work schedules, tracking project progress, and allocating resources.
- Coordinate job schedules, address changes, and resolve any construction issues.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure all work aligns with drawings, specifications, and schedule
- Assist with the coordination of material and equipment deliveries with vendors and suppliers.
- Resolve or participate in resolving construction problems.
- Maintain a daily log of the job site's operations, providing reports to management as necessary.
- Monitor compliance with safety program requirements, document findings, and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
- Implement cost-effective and efficient management techniques.
- Discuss potential changes to the job as needed to meet construction deadlines. Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a superintendent of high-end residential construction
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and trades
- Ability to read and interpret architecturally driven construction plans
- Detail-oriented with high quality standards
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to quickly adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver's license
- Bachelors degree preferred
- US work authorization
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable vehicle
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
