The Superintendent position is an administrative position overseeing and administering the onsite day- to-day general operations which include safety, inspections, weekly logs, etc. of one or more construction projects, typically from start to finish of each project. Responsibilities:

Ability to travel nationwide is necessary Order and coordinate necessary temporary utilities required for project at mobilization. Develops a schedule for completion of an assigned project. Coordinates and schedules the daily work activities of tradespeople, professionals, and Collaborates with architect, engineer, attorney, and other pertinent stakeholders to ensure specifications, zoning requirements, and other regulations are met. Ensures specifications and regulations outlined in architectural and engineering plans are followed. Coordinates with city, county, state, federal and any other AHJ's for required inspections, approvals, permits or certifications. Monitors budget throughout the project and communicates variances as they occur. Maintains records related to deliveries and inventory. Maintains Daily Logs to include all daily activities, weather, tasks completed, subcontractors present, inspections, etc. Addresses any safety violations or other deficiencies. Holds weekly safety meetings of toolbox talks. Maintains hazmat resources and safety materials. Collaborates with union representatives to answer questions and clarify procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned. laborers, communicating to and via project foreperson to deliver instructions and project assignments as appropriate. Create weekly "3-week" look ahead schedules with input and buy-in from subcontractors. Regularly inspects work for quality and timeliness; prepares and provides progress reports to owners and architects; makes recommendations for necessary modifications.

Requirements:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management Good plan reading and construction means & methods knowledge Good verbal and written communication skills.
