Job Description

Embree Construction Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Superintendent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction project, from scheduling to managing resources and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Responsibilities:
Oversee the construction project, including scheduling, budgeting, and managing resources Ensure that all construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers Implement and enforce safety procedures and regulations Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, engineers, and contractors Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with design and code requirements Identify and resolve construction issues in a timely and efficient manner Provide progress reports and updates to management
Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications Experience with construction management software and tools Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Forklift Operator certificate prefered We offer competitive salary packages, comprehensive benefits, and a dynamic and challenging work environment.

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Work is performed in an office settings and outdoor site work is required in the inspection of various land use developments, construction sites or public works facilities. Hand-eye coordination and the ability to see well, naturally or with correction, is necessary to operate drafting instruments, computers and various pieces of office equipment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and the ability of pulling and pushing objects up to 50 pounds is required on a job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continually required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms for long periods of time. The employee is regularly required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; and smell.
