Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Superintendent to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. In this vital role, you will coordinate all on-site activities, ensure safety compliance, manage subcontractors, and uphold quality standards. Your leadership will drive project success by maintaining schedules, controlling budgets, and fostering seamless communication among teams. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction initiatives while utilizing your expertise in construction management software and site supervision.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate scheduling of subcontractors, consultants, inspectors, and material suppliers to complete each project on time. Monitor work progress and materials to ensure quality control standards are met at various stages of the project. Communicate monthly work quantities by project to the project manager. Manage subcontractors and Estrada foreman to execute their job duties effectively and efficiently. Understand each project activity on a working day basis. Perform inspections or schedule inspectors to meet the varying safety and compliance regulations of each job location. Maintain a written daily log, work performed, materials expended, and problems resolved on each job site. Review foreman's daily labor and equipment submitted within 24 hours of submission. Travel between multiple job sites and simultaneously manage workloads of individual projects. No out-of-Town work, home every night. Identify and resolve problems and conflicts, organize meetings, and cooperate with team members in various roles, as necessary. Receive direction from project managers and facilitate with foreman in the field.
Qualifications:
Prior heavy civil construction experience at the project superintendent level is required. Municipal Rehab work experience preferred. Working knowledge of software programs and databases; specifically, HCSS- Heavy Job, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel and Word, MS Project. Ability to write reports and professional correspondence via email to vendors, suppliers, city inspectors, and clients. An advanced ability to comprehend technical documents, such as project specific environmental and geotechnical reports, civil construction plans, municipal construction specifications and standard details, OHSA Technical Manual (OTM), SWPPP Plans, MUTCD 11th Edition, and 2024 TXDOT standards specifications. Excellent verbal communications skills, especially when directing and coordinating with company foreman, project managers, and subcontractors.
