This role demands a comprehensive understanding of construction management principles, project scheduling, and site operations to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, technical expertise in construction software, and extensive experience in managing complex construction sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead diverse projects while contributing to the successful realization of client visions through meticulous planning and execution.
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and safety protocols. Develop detailed project plans utilizing construction management software such as Primavera P6 and HeavyBid. Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate seamless communication and project flow. Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure clarity of project scope and specifications. Oversee procurement processes including construction estimating and contract negotiations. Monitor on-site activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality control measures. Manage project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 and Project scheduling software to optimize resource allocation. Utilize technical skills in Civil 3D and Schematics for site layout planning and design verification. Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, resolve issues promptly, and document project milestones. Facilitate effective project coordination by maintaining detailed records of work performed, change orders, and RFIs. Foster a collaborative environment among team members while ensuring strict adherence to deadlines through excellent time management.
Skills:
Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and Civil 3D. Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and contract management. Experience with project scheduling, project management methodologies, and construction site operations. Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret schematics for precise execution. Familiarity with contracts administration, change order processes, and legal considerations in construction. Excellent organizational skills with a focus on time management and prioritization. Effective communication skills for coordinating with diverse stakeholders across multiple disciplines. Hands-on experience in civil or heavy construction environments is highly desirable. Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing large teams on active job sites. This role is integral to delivering high-quality construction projects that meet client expectations while adhering to safety standards.
