Job Description
Commercial Construction Superintendent Seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee ground-up construction projects throughout the state of Texas. This is an opportunity for a field-focused leader who enjoys taking ownership of the jobsite, driving schedules, leading teams, and seeing projects through from dirt work to final turnover. The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and comfortable managing all aspects of field operations while maintaining quality, safety, and schedule expectations.
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day jobsite operations from mobilization through project completion Coordinate subcontractors, manpower, materials, and equipment Drive project schedules and identify potential delays or field challenges before they impact progress Ensure work is performed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards Maintain a strong safety culture and enforce OSHA compliance Lead subcontractor meetings and communicate effectively with project teams and ownership Manage inspections, punch lists, and project closeout activities Maintain accurate jobsite documentation and reporting
Qualifications:
7+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction Proven experience overseeing ground-up construction projects Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Experience coordinating multiple trades and maintaining schedules Experience with Procore and/or construction management software preferred Willingness to travel throughout the state of Texas as project needs require
