Lead Installer Supervisor

Position Summary The Lead Installer Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and directing the safe, efficient, and high-quality installation of steel tanks and general install services across various job sites. This role combines direct field leadership, technical expertise, and project management to ensure all builds meet strict specifications while serving as a primary on-site company representative. Bilingual (spanish) prefered.

Travel & Location Requirements Base Location:

Must be home-based in the Johnson County, Texas area.

Travel:

Requires regular, extensive travel throughout the United States.

Logistics:

Involves driving company vehicles and hauling trailers to various project locations; must manage all road-related expenses (lodging, fuel, etc.).

Key ResponsibilitiesField Leadership & Technical Execution Team Management:

Directly supervise, motivate, and provide performance feedback to a team of tank installers and laborers.

Workflow Planning:

Organize daily tasks and equipment usage to ensure projects remain on schedule.

Technical Authority:

Act as the on-site expert for troubleshooting and resolving complex installation challenges while interpreting technical specifications for structural integrity.

Quality Assurance:

Verify foundation preparation, proper bolt torquing, and adherence to manufacturer sealing specifications.

Safety & Compliance Safety Meetings:

Conduct daily "Toolbox Talks" with crews and customers to identify hazards and review work scopes.

Regulatory Adherence:

Enforce all OSHA and company safety regulations, ensuring consistent and correct use of PPE.

Site Maintenance:

Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free working environment in both job sites and company vehicles.

Resource & Financial Management Asset Accountability:

Manage on-site inventory (steel, sealants, tools) and ensure the security and maintenance of all company-owned property.

Expense Tracking:

Document and submit all project-related expenses, including food, lodging, and fuel, in a timely manner.

Efficiency:

Minimize material waste and ensure the efficient use of specialized equipment.

Project Management & Client Relations Client Liaison:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients or General Contractors on-site, providing exceptional customer service.

Change Management:

Immediately communicate any customer-requested scope changes to the company to ensure final builds meet intended use.

Business Development:

Identify and communicate new business opportunities discovered while in the field.

Training & Development Mentorship:

Provide on-the-job coaching to develop the technical skills of the crew.

Documentation:

Write and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training manuals to reflect industry best practices.

Continuous Improvement:

Evaluate training module effectiveness and suggest revisions to management.

Vendor Engagement Relationship Management:

Build professional relationships with suppliers and monitor compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Feedback Loop:

Identify opportunities for cost savings or improved efficiency through vendor feedback.

Pay:

$75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
