Job Description

Helen Doron Learning Center Manager - Requirements Document 1. Position Overview The Helen Doron Learning Center Manager is responsible for the overall operation, performance, and growth of a Helen Doron Learning Center. This role combines leadership, educational quality assurance, student recruitment, and operational management to ensure the center delivers exceptional English-learning experiences for children and families. The Manager serves as the key representative of the Helen Doron brand at the local level and is accountable for achieving business targets while maintaining educational excellence. 2. Key Responsibilities 2.1 Operational Management Oversee day-to-day operations of the learning center Ensure smooth scheduling of classes, teachers, and resources Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming learning environment Manage inventory (books, materials, classroom supplies) Ensure compliance with company standards and local regulations Mandatory use of company systems, CRM, marketing, and reporting tools Full compliance with Helen Doron brand standards and guidelines 2.2 Educational Quality Assurance Ensure all programs are delivered according to the Helen Doron methodology Monitor class quality and student progress Conduct regular classroom observations Support and mentor teachers Ensure proper use of teaching materials and digital tools 2.3 Team Leadership & HR Recruit, onboard, and train teachers and administrative staff Manage staff schedules and performance Conduct regular performance reviews Foster a positive, collaborative work culture Ensure ongoing professional development 2.4 Sales & Business Development Drive student enrollment and retention Manage leads, conversions, and customer pipeline Execute local marketing initiatives and campaigns Build partnerships with schools, kindergartens, and community organizations Achieve monthly and annual revenue targets 2.5 Customer Experience Ensure high levels of parent and student satisfaction Handle inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally Build long-term relationships with families Monitor retention and engagement metrics 2.6 Financial Management Manage center budget and expenses Track revenue, profitability, and KPIs Prepare reports for franchise owner or the headquarters Optimize resource allocation and cost efficiency 3. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Own the full sales funnel: lead generation, follow-up, conversion, and retention Track and improve conversion rates at each stage of the customer journey Student enrollment growth and retention rate Revenue and profitability targets Class occupancy rates Customer satisfaction (NPS or similar) Teacher retention and performance 4. Required Qualifications 4.1 Education Bachelor's degree in education, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (required) Master's degree (advantage) 4.2 Experience 3-5+ years in a management role Experience in education, retail, or service-based business Proven track record in sales or business development Experience managing teams 4.3 Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and people management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Sales-driven mindset with business acumen Organizational and multitasking abilities Problem-solving and decision-making skills Customer-focused approach Ability to work independently and take initiative 4.4 Language Requirements Fluent in American English 5. Personal Attributes Passion for education and working with children Energetic, positive, and proactive attitude High level of accountability and ownership Adaptability in a dynamic environment Strong ethical standards and professionalism 6. Working Conditions Full-time position Will require evening and weekend work On-site role at the learning center Occasional travel for training or company events 7.
