Lubbock 5G Monarch Construction is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Superintendent to support the construction and completion of multifamily apartment projects in Lubbock, Texas. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on construction experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. The Assistant Superintendent will work closely with the Superintendent and subcontractors to ensure units are completed on schedule, meet quality expectations, and are ready for final turnover. Responsibilities Assist the Superintendent with daily jobsite operations and coordination Manage and complete apartment unit punch lists Perform quality control inspections on completed work and finishes Verify completion of work by subcontractors and vendors Identify deficiencies and ensure corrective actions are completed promptly Maintain clean, safe, and organized jobsite conditions Coordinate schedules and communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and project team members Track progress and report status updates on unit completion Operate construction equipment as needed, including tracked loaders and mini excavators Support project closeout activities and final inspections Qualifications Experience in multifamily or residential construction preferred Ability to read plans and understand construction processes Experience operating tracked loaders, mini excavators, and similar equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of punch list procedures and finish inspections Strong work ethic and problem-solving ability Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Skills Experience with apartment turnover and final finish inspections Knowledge of safety procedures and OSHA standards Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Opportunity for growth within a growing construction company Hands-on involvement in large multifamily developments Team-oriented work environment To apply, please submit your resume and relevant construction experience.
