Senior Project Manager - Civil Construction Ti-Zack Concrete, LLC - 5.0 Lubbock, TX Job Details Full-time 19 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description Senior Project Manager - Civil Construction Position Summary The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall execution, leadership, and financial performance of large-scale heavy civil concrete construction projects in the Lubbock, Texas area. This role provides oversight of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, field operations, subcontractor coordination, safety, quality, and client communication to ensure successful project delivery. The Senior Project Manager works closely with project engineers, superintendents, field personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, and company leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements. As Ti-Zack continues to grow its Texas operations, this individual may assume oversight of additional projects and project teams throughout the region. Essential Responsibilities Project Leadership & Execution Lead all aspects of project execution from contract award through project closeout Oversee major heavy civil concrete construction projects in the Lubbock, Texas area Develop and maintain project schedules, work plans, and resource requirements Coordinate project activities with superintendents, project engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and owners Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when necessary Identify and mitigate project risks, delays, and operational challenges Ensure contract requirements and project milestones are achieved Manage project startup, procurement, execution, and closeout activities Financial Management Maintain responsibility for project profitability and financial performance Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost-control measures Monitor labor productivity, equipment utilization, and production performance Review project cost reports and forecasting updates Manage monthly billings, change orders, and project documentation Review and approve subcontractor pay applications and major purchases Ensure accurate tracking of project costs and financial reporting Team Leadership Lead and mentor project engineers and project support personnel Partner closely with field superintendents to drive project performance Promote accountability, communication, and teamwork across the project team Coordinate staffing and resource needs throughout the project lifecycle Foster a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence Client & Stakeholder Management Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, engineers, and key project stakeholders Lead project meetings and provide regular updates regarding schedule, budget, and project status Maintain positive working relationships throughout the duration of the project Resolve project issues proactively and professionally Safety & Quality Champion Ti-Zack's safety culture and ensure compliance with all company policies Support field leadership in maintaining safe and productive jobsites Ensure all work complies with contract specifications and quality standards Participate in safety reviews, quality inspections, and corrective action planning Promote continuous improvement throughout project operations Work Environment Based in the Lubbock, Texas area Primary responsibility will be oversight of major heavy civil concrete construction projects Frequent jobsite presence required Combination of field, office, and client-facing responsibilities Future opportunities to oversee additional projects throughout Texas as operations continue to expand Position may be subject to pre-employment screening, which may include background check and drug testing.
