Construction Project Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with industry-standard management and scheduling software. This role requires a strategic thinker capable of managing multiple stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. The Construction Project Manager will play a pivotal role in guiding project teams, managing contracts, reading blueprints and schematics, and maintaining safety standards across all phases of construction. Responsibilities Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing. Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and other construction management software to ensure timely project delivery. Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate seamless communication and project execution. Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory standards. Prepare accurate construction estimates utilizing HeavyBid and other estimating tools. Oversee site activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines. Manage project budgets, change orders, and procurement processes effectively. Monitor progress through regular site visits; address issues promptly to minimize delays. Maintain comprehensive documentation related to project schedules, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders. Utilize construction management software for project coordination, scheduling, and reporting purposes. Qualifications Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in civil or heavy construction projects. Proficiency with industry-standard software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, Schematics software, and general construction management tools. Extensive knowledge of project scheduling and project management principles. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Strong understanding of contracts administration and construction estimating processes. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in project coordination across diverse teams. Solid understanding of safety regulations and site safety protocols. Relevant certifications or licenses in construction management or related fields are preferred but not mandatory.
