Jul 13, 2026 Job DescriptionPRIMARY PURPOSE
To oversee the planning, implementation, management, and evaluation of the Texas ACE Program at the assigned community learning center. The Site Coordinator focus will be to collaborate with the Project Director and coordinate planning and evaluations, implement improvements, and facilitate program training and services for the assigned center. This program is part of Afterschool Centers on Education (ACE), a comprehensive academic program funded by the Texas Education Agency. This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned.QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's Degree required Master's degree preferredSpecial Knowledge/Skills:
Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills Strong organization and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong technology skills Calm and patient demeanor with students and others Experience working with high risk children and families Experience in staff supervision Knowledge of community resources Previous experience with 21st CCLC or other after school/summer school programs Working knowledge of local youth service organizationsMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Program Management 1. Develop and coordinate activities for students and parents participating in the Texas 21stCCLC/ACE
program at Morgan ISD. 2. Organize and work closely with the 21stCCLC/ACE
Project Director, Family Engagement Specialist, and campus/district administration to implement the program. 3. Provide on-site supervision of staff working the program as well as handle day-to-day situations such as discipline, separation issues, and scheduling. 4. Provide students a broad array of programs and activities to reinforce and complement the regular school day. 5. Manage the recruitment and retention of students while assuring student participation by monitoring attendance and taking steps to ensure that regular student counts are met. 6. Complete data entry daily and assist with evaluation of the program at the center level. 7. Organize supplies, materials, and equipment while maintaining an updated inventory of all non-consumable items purchased. 8. Recruit, train, and develop frontline staff to achieve intended objectives. 9. Assist in on-going planning efforts including community outreach 10. Facilitate communication and create a link between the school-day and the program. 11. Attend all required meetings, conferences, and training. 12. Interpret policy, procedures, and data to comply with state and federal requirements including effective data entry and fiscal management. 13. Assist the project director in the development, marketing & recruiting strategies along with appropriate communication of goals and objectives for the assigned center. 14. Maintain working relationships with the project director, other site coordinators, district administrators, and school site administrators and staff to support the integration of programs into the school. 15. Ensure services provided have the desired impact on participants by reviewing data regularly and monitoring and evaluating the progress of service providers towards required outcomes and working with the project director on all aspects of data collection. 16. Work closely with the project director and administrative staff to communicate priorities and goals of the program as they align to the school while engaging and developing parent and community leadership in the decision-making process. 17. Offer opportunities for parents and students to engage in Family Engagement Activities. 18. Collaborate with project director and other site coordinators and campus staff to ensure program variety remains unique and challenging. 19. Respond to concerns of participating campus administrators and service providers. 20. Assist the project director and other site coordinators in the evaluation of the curricula and instructional programs and make appropriate recommendations for changes/modifications. 21. Research and apply best practices to the design and continuous improvement of all project related activities. 22. Assist with the development and revision of instruments for assessment including benchmarks. 23. Report to the project director weekly on progress, challenges, lessons learned, and any potential modifications being considered. 24. Prepare and provide reports as required while maintaining appropriate compliance and data activities. 25. Attend and participate in all required Texas ACE Trainings, webinars, conference calls, meetings, and school related activities at the school sites and administrative offices. 26. Serve on school, district and/or community advisory boards and/or committees related to program content as necessary. 27. Perform such other duties and assume such other responsibilities as may be assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
