We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning:
    Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, resources, and budgets. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and feasibility.
  • Resource Management:
    Efficiently allocate labor, materials, and equipment to meet project requirements. Ensure procurement processes are followed and resources are optimally utilized.
  • Budget Oversight:
    Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure cost-effective practices. Identify and address potential financial challenges proactively.
  • Team Leadership:
    Lead and mentor construction teams, fostering a collaborative and safety-first environment. Address conflicts, provide guidance, and drive performance through effective communication.
  • Quality Control:
    Implement quality assurance processes to ensure all construction work meets industry standards and client expectations. Conduct regular inspections and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Safety Compliance:
    Uphold safety protocols and regulations on-site. Conduct safety meetings, enforce safe working practices, and ensure all team members are trained and equipped to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Client Interaction:
    Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients, keeping them informed of project progress. Address client concerns and ensure satisfaction with project outcomes.
  • Problem Solving:
    Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Resolve any issues that arise during construction, ensuring minimal impact on timelines and quality.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of project progress, changes, and any incidents. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management and clients.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Construction Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and OSHA safety standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver projects on time and within budget.
Preferred:
  • Experience in masonry construction or a related specialty.
  • Certification in Construction Management or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, are a plus.
