Job Description

General Responsibility Manages, documents, reviews, updates, monitors and administers all HSE activities and ensures contract compliance in areas such as: Confined Space Entry, Electrical Safety, Contractor Safety Program, First Aid/CPR/BBP, Hearing Conservation/Noise Level Monitoring, Fluor Chemical Approval/Handling and Storage, Asbestos Awareness, Personal Protective, Respirator Protection, Standards Awareness Reviews hot work, confined space, roof, and crane permits Ensures accurate and proper filing of documentation before and after permit issuance Updates Site Manager and Site HSE Lead on HSE program issues Ensures effective and timely communications between Fluor employees and client Must comply with Fluor and client's environmental and safety policies and procedures Duties and Responsibilities Conducts and documents surveys, audits, inspections, and investigations on monthly, quarterly and annual basis Supports Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations teams with HSE issues and concerns Conducts, participates and attends meetings/training as required Interaction with site employees at every level Experience required: Industrial experience involving but not limited to lockout/tagout (LOTO), confined space, line break, industrial heavy equipment, and in-service manufacturing equipment Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Experience in the following a plus: OSHA Outreach 30-hour industry or construction completion Paper Mill environment a plus Bilingual a plus
